Description
The Manning AirScan™ IR-F9 Gas Detector is a microprocessor-based infrared gas detection solution designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerants in refrigeration, food processing, chemical, and industrial environments. Its true diffusion-based sensing design requires no pumps, filters, or moving parts, allowing continuous monitoring of detection points while reducing maintenance requirements. The sensor provides rapid response to refrigerants including R-404A, R-22, R-507, and R-134a, with a standard measuring range of 0–3,000 ppm that can be rescaled for lower alarm trip points. SensorCheck™ Technology continuously monitors sensor performance and tests electrical viability every 24 hours, while ATMOS™ Technology helps the detector operate reliably under fluctuating temperatures and condensing humidity conditions. The high-mass stainless steel housing provides thermal and structural stability, vibration resistance, and EMI/RFI shielding. With linear 4–20 mA output, RS485 communication, NEMA 4 protection, and compatibility with Honeywell Analytics readouts, the Manning AirScan™ IR-F9 is suitable for supermarkets, refrigeration systems, product coolers, beverage plants, food processing facilities, ice rinks, wineries, gas bottling plants, and other applications requiring dependable refrigerant gas monitoring.
