Description
The Honeywell Sensepoint XCD RTD Gas Detector provides reliable remote monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen in industrial facilities where sensors may need to be installed away from the transmitter. The sensor can be positioned up to 100 ft (30 m) from the transmitter, allowing effective coverage of hard-to-reach areas while keeping gas readings and safety status visible from an accessible location. Its large tri-color display provides an easy-to-understand traffic-light indication of gas safety status, while non-intrusive magnetic switches simplify configuration and one-person maintenance. The removable plug-in sensor helps reduce downtime and maintenance requirements, while onboard diagnostics and automatic inhibit during maintenance help minimize false alarms and human error. Supporting 16–32 VDC operation, RS485 communication, and three programmable relay outputs, the Sensepoint XCD RTD is suitable for coal processing plants, food and beverage production, manufacturing facilities, oil and gas process areas, power plants, utilities, and wastewater facilities.
