Description
The Honeywell Sensepoint XCD Gas Detector provides comprehensive monitoring of combustible, toxic, and oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive environments across indoor and outdoor applications. Its common transmitter platform supports catalytic, infrared, and electrochemical sensing technologies, including Surecell™ electrochemical sensors, poison-resistant catalytic bead sensors, and poison-immune infrared sensors. Toxic and oxygen sensors can be remotely mounted up to 30 m from the transmitter, making the system suitable for hard-to-reach or concealed detection points. The plug-in sensor automatically configures the transmitter, while the tri-color backlit LCD and non-intrusive magnetic switches allow users to monitor and configure the detector without opening the enclosure. The system includes two programmable alarm relays, one programmable fault relay, selectable sink/source 4–20 mA output, and MODBUS RTU communication for remote diagnostics and configuration. With IP66 protection, explosion-proof stainless steel or aluminum housing options, global approvals, auto-inhibit during maintenance, and flexible mounting options, the Sensepoint XCD is suitable for commercial buildings, energy facilities, manufacturing plants, and other industrial gas monitoring applications.
