Description
The Dräger Polytron 8000 Gas Detector is engineered for demanding industrial applications requiring reliable, continuous gas monitoring in potentially explosive atmospheres. Its modular design supports a wide range of Dräger sensors for detecting gases such as oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, chlorine, and combustible gases, depending on the installed sensor and model. The transmitter provides a 4–20 mA analogue output with HART® communication, while optional interfaces enable integration with compatible industrial control and monitoring systems. A backlit graphic LCD, status LEDs, and magnetic-wand operation simplify local configuration and maintenance without opening the enclosure. Available in epoxy-coated aluminium or 316L stainless steel, the Polytron 8000 is designed for reliable operation in challenging industrial conditions.
