Description
The Honeywell Sensepoint XRL Gas Detector is a fixed-point gas detector designed for continuous detection of flammable and toxic gas hazards across demanding industrial applications. Its integrated Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy connectivity allows users to configure, calibrate, test, diagnose, and generate reports directly from a smartphone or tablet using the Sensepoint gas detector app, reducing the need for physical access to hard-to-reach detectors. The detector supports selectable 0–22 mA analog output and Modbus RTU digital communication for flexible system integration, while its multi-color visual indicators provide clear status information for normal operation, warnings, alarms, faults, Bluetooth pairing, and inhibited conditions. With IP66 ingress protection, NEMA 4X rating, a durable aluminum alloy enclosure, and 24 VDC operation, the Sensepoint XRL is suitable for outdoor and industrial environments such as petrochemical plants, manufacturing facilities, fuelling depots, vehicle test facilities, battery charging facilities, and water treatment plants. Available gas measurement options include combustible gases, carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H2), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and oxygen (O2).
