Description
The RAEGuard 2 PID Gas Detector from RAE provides fixed, continuous VOC monitoring using advanced photoionization detection technology. Its sample flow-through design delivers fast response for early warning, while the large UV lamp provides improved sensitivity and resolution. The detector operates on 10–28 VDC and provides a three-wire 4–20 mA analog output along with RS-485 Modbus digital communication for integration with control and monitoring systems. A removable digital PID sensor module allows convenient calibration and maintenance in hazardous locations without specialized tools, while the explosion-proof enclosure can remain installed. The graphic LCD display, LED status indicator, local sound alarm, and three configurable Low, High, and Fault relays provide clear local and external alarm notification. With automatic fresh-air calibration, Isobutylene calibration gas, an internal sampling pump, IP65 protection, and 316 stainless steel construction, the RAEGuard 2 PID is suitable for chemical storage, refineries, laboratories, paint spray booths, printing, semiconductor manufacturing, and other VOC monitoring applications.
