Description
The Emergency Evacuation Manikin is specifically designed for realistic emergency evacuation training in care homes, hospitals, healthcare facilities, and other care environments. It helps staff practise Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) and develop practical skills for safely moving people during emergency situations, including fire evacuation, horizontal evacuation and vertical evacuation. The lightweight construction provides sufficient weight for realistic casualty handling training while allowing the manikin to be easily transported between different training sites. A strong rear webbing loop supports safe handling and storage, while soft body joints help reduce the risk of pinch welts and bruising commonly associated with plastic-bodied training manikins. The manikin is manufactured from antibacterial, flame-retardant material, making it particularly suitable for healthcare and care home environments where hygiene is important. It is supplied with washable pyjamas to support improved hygiene during repeated training sessions, along with replaceable soft boots. An immobilisation/extrication collar can also be fitted to promote appropriate casualty-care procedures during evacuation exercises.
