Description
The Dog / Canine Training Manikin provides a realistic and durable solution for canine rescue training, helping emergency services prepare for situations where dogs require rescue from difficult or hazardous environments. Designed for fire and rescue teams, search and rescue (SAR) teams, mountain rescue organisations, and multi-agency exercises, the manikin can be used for scenarios involving cliffs, rivers, parks, rubble and other challenging locations. It is constructed from strong water-repellent Polyester with excellent strength and abrasion resistance, offering significantly greater durability than traditional canvas or PVC materials. The flame-retardant Polyester conforms to BS EN ISO 15025:2002, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and ISO 17050-1. Its waterproof construction allows easy cleaning and drying, while soft body joints help eliminate pinch welts and bruising associated with rigid plastic manikins. Built to withstand demanding exercises, it can be buried under rubble and rockfall, driven over by a vehicle or dropped from approximately a second-floor window without damage. The canine training manikin is available in 10 kg, 20 kg and 25 kg weights, making it suitable for different rescue training requirements.
