Description
The Dräger Polytron 7000 is designed for a wide range of industrial gas detection applications requiring continuous monitoring of toxic gases and oxygen. Its electrochemical sensor platform supports numerous gases, including hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, carbon monoxide, chlorine, and oxygen, depending on the installed sensor. The transmitter offers a large graphic display with text-based menus, while 4–20 mA output, HART®, PROFIBUS® PA, FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus, and LONWORKS® options support integration with compatible monitoring systems. Its glass-fibre-reinforced polyester housing provides IP66/IP67 protection, and the intrinsically safe design supports use in suitable hazardous areas. Optional modules provide additional functionality, including pumped sampling and relay outputs.
