Description
Dräger Infrared Sensors use advanced infrared sensor technology to provide precise monitoring of explosive gases, vapours, and CO₂ in portable gas detection applications. Designed for environments where explosive gases occur frequently, these sensors are compatible with Dräger X-am 5600, X-am 7000, and X-am 8000 portable gas detectors. The sensors can measure from the lower explosion limit (LEL) up to 100 vol.%, while the CO₂ version provides a measuring range of 0–5 vol.%. Their infrared technology is highly resistant to sensor poisons and offers reduced measurement drift, supporting reliable results across a wide range of applications. With an anticipated service life of more than 5 years and a 12-month calibration interval, Dräger infrared sensors are designed to help minimise follow-up and operational costs. They can also enable Ex and CO₂ measurements simultaneously, providing flexible gas monitoring capabilities.
