Description
The Honeywell Manning Vent Line Gas Detector is designed for continuous monitoring of refrigeration system vent lines for high concentrations of ammonia and fluorocarbon refrigerant gases. Elevated refrigerant concentrations in vent lines can indicate system overpressure or leaking relief valves, helping facility operators identify potentially hazardous conditions and reduce refrigerant loss, equipment risks, and costly downtime. The sensor is embedded in a durable 2-inch forged steel bull plug and is supplied with a 2-inch cast steel T, plug, and nipple for installation in refrigeration vent lines. A four-point terminal strip provides electrical connection between the sensor and pre-amplifier, while the separate pre-amplifier delivers a linear 4–20 mA output for connection to Honeywell Analytics readouts, PLCs, and central alarm systems.
