Description
The Casualty Evacuation Manikin provides realistic and durable training for fire and emergency service personnel performing casualty drags, evacuation exercises, and role-based fitness assessments. Originally designed for the UK Fire Fighter Recruitment Test and the CFOA FireFit Role Based Fitness Test, the standard model weighs 55kg, the specified weight for UK Fire and Rescue Services, while alternative weights can be manufactured to meet specific training requirements. Its anatomically correct weight distribution provides the realistic handling characteristics of an unconscious casualty. Constructed from flame-retardant polyester material also used in police ballistic and stab-resistant vests, the manikin offers high strength and abrasion resistance for demanding training environments. A strong webbing loop supports handling, hauling, suspension, storage, and drying. Water-repellent construction allows use in wet or foul conditions, while soft body joints help reduce the risk of pinch injuries associated with rigid plastic-bodied manikins. Supplied complete with leg protectors, an overall, and replaceable boots, this manikin is suitable for repeated firefighter fitness and casualty evacuation training.
