Description
The Bariatric (Obese) Training Manikins provide realistic simulation for training teams to safely handle and manoeuvre heavier casualties, patients, passengers, and other individuals. Constructed from durable waterproof polyester and designed with anatomically correct weight distribution, these manikins provide a realistic feel and fluidity of movement rather than behaving like a rigid heavy weight. Their robust construction allows them to be used in demanding rescue exercises, including scenarios involving vehicles, concrete, and steel structures. The manikins are designed for rescue teams of 4–6 people and are supplied with a carrying sheet featuring a safe working load of up to 600 kg. The neck allows an immobilisation/extrication collar to be fitted for appropriate casualty-care training. A 50 kg bariatric version is also available for healthcare environments and for demonstrating bariatric equipment without the excessive weight of heavier models. Made in the UK to ISO 9001:2015 standards, these training manikins are suitable for healthcare, ambulance services, fire and rescue, airlines, cruise ships, prisons, care homes, and industrial training.
