Description
The Honeywell XNX™ Universal Transmitter provides a versatile platform for integrating multiple gas sensing technologies and safety equipment into industrial gas detection systems. Supporting electrochemical, infrared, and catalytic bead gas monitors, the transmitter offers flexible configuration options with standard 4–20 mA wiring, HART® communications, optional Modbus® and FOUNDATION® H1 Fieldbus, up to three relays, and a local HART adapter for configuration and diagnostics. The XNX can detect flammable gases across a 0 to 100% LFL/LEL range and is compatible with Honeywell Analytics gas sensors, including remote or locally mounted sensing configurations. Its rugged LM25 aluminum enclosure, with optional painted SS316 construction, five threaded ports, LCD display, and surface mounting design provide installation flexibility for demanding environments. Certified to ATEX, CSA, IECEx, UL, cUL and other applicable standards, with SIL 2 assessment, the XNX™ Universal Transmitter is suitable for energy, oil and gas, chemical, wastewater, and other industrial gas detection applications.
