Description
The Full Bodied Airway Management Manikin provides realistic airway management training in environments that replicate the challenging conditions encountered during emergency rescue operations. Designed for confined space training, Road Traffic Collision (RTC) training, difficult-access rescue and other emergency scenarios, the full-body configuration encourages healthcare and rescue teams to practise airway procedures outside conventional classroom settings. The adult-sized manikin measures 1.8 metres and is constructed with durable Polyester conforming to BS EN ISO 6330 and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, making it tough, easy to handle and simple to clean. The removable Simulaids Adult Airway Management torso can be taken out for cleaning and features detailed anatomical landmarks including the sternum, rib cage and substernal notch, along with teeth, uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoid cartilage, trachea and esophagus. Inflatable lungs and stomach support realistic airway management practice, including nasogastric tube placement, while the torso accepts Combitube®, E.O.A., E.G.T.A., P.T.L. and i-gel airways. The manikin eliminates pinching associated with plastic full-body joints and comes with washable protective overalls and a durable carrying holdall. It is available as a 20 kg manikin with an IV arm for cannulation and can be supplied with or without the airway management torso.
