Child Training Manikins for Healthcare provide a safe and practical solution for paediatric moving and handling training. Designed for healthcare professionals working with babies, toddlers, children, and young people with mobility difficulties, these manikins allow trainees to practise lifting, transferring, moving, and emergency evacuation procedures repeatedly and safely. Available in 5kg Baby and 10kg Toddler versions, the manikins feature anatomically correct weight distribution to provide a realistic feel when handling an unresponsive child. Their soft body joints help reduce the risk of pinch welts and bruising associated with rigid plastic-bodied training manikins. Constructed from durable polyester that conforms to BS EN ISO 6330, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and ISO 17050-1, they are easy to clean and suitable for regular healthcare training. The removable overalls can be washed, while regular clothing can also be used to adapt the manikin to different training scenarios. They are particularly useful for safe lifting and handling, transfer equipment training, emergency evacuation planning, and general paediatric moving and handling exercises.
