This filter connects securely to 3M™ Reusable Half Masks (6000 Series, 6500QL Series, 7500 Series) and Full Face Masks (6000 Series) via its bayonet-style connection, ensuring a quick and easy installation with a simple quarter-turn. Its low-profile, swept-back design optimizes both field of view and balance, offering comfort and stability throughout long-term use. The lightweight construction and low breathing resistance allow for efficient air filtration with minimal effort. Designed for use in hazardous environments, the filter utilizes carbon particles to effectively adsorb and remove harmful contaminants, ensuring reliable and long-lasting protection. Additionally, 3M™ offers a free online tool, 3M Select and Service Life Software, to assist in selecting the right respirators and filters based on specific workplace hazards and to determine filter change-out schedules. The 3M™ Bayonet Gas & Vapour Filter is not suitable for use in environments immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or where high levels of airborne particulates are present unless combined with appropriate particulate filters.
