The 3M™ Hand Sanding and Power Tool Respirator 8822 is a high-performance valved filtering facepiece respirator designed to provide FFP2 protection against medium-level fine dusts and oil or water-based mists, commonly encountered during activities such as sanding, grinding, and cutting. Its robust collapse-resistant shell and lightweight, twin-strap design ensure durability and a secure, comfortable fit across a wide range of face shapes and sizes. The respirator features an adjustable nose clip and soft nose foam, which help to create a secure seal across the nose and cheeks, while the 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve reduces heat buildup inside the respirator, making it more comfortable for extended wear. Color-coded blue headbands indicate the FFP2 protection level, and the respirator complies with the European standards (EN 149:2001 + A1:2009 FFP2 NR D).
