The SHIELD 2000 Nomex® Fire Hood is designed to provide superior head and neck protection in firefighting and industrial environments where safety is critical. Made from a 220 gsm blend of 50% Nomex®, 49% Lenzing Viscose, and 1% Antistatic fibers, this flame-resistant balaclava offers excellent comfort, breathability, and durability. Certified to EN ISO 13688:2013/A1:2021, EN 13911:2017, EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, A2, B1, C1, F1), and EN 1149-3:2004 & EN 1149-5:2008, it ensures compliance with international safety standards. The SHIELD 2000 is constructed from two symmetrical knitted fabric parts, joined with a flat seam from the back to the top, ensuring a secure fit without discomfort. It features an oval-shaped eye opening with a reinforced 1 cm border, backstitched hems, and double stitching for added strength. Designed for high-performance use, it resists heat, flames, and static discharge, making it a reliable choice for firefighters and multi-facility industrial workers.
