Description
The PAB Fire Compact helmet combines advanced thermoplastic materials with a modern design to deliver reliable protection in firefighting and rescue operations. With resistance to extreme temperatures up to 1,000 °C in a 10-second flash over and radiant heat exposure at 14 kW/m², this helmet ensures durability in the harshest environments. It is certified for electrical insulation (E3), chemical resistance, and mechanical impact protection, while maintaining low-temperature performance down to −30 °C. Safety features include reflective tape for high visibility, a tested 3-point chinstrap, and multiple neck protector options in aluminised fibre, Nomex®, genuine leather, or 100% wool Holland style. Comfort is maximized with washable, replaceable interior padding, an easy adjustment system for head sizes 52–64 cm, and a quick-release fitting mechanism. Equipped with anti-scratch, anti-fog coated visors and goggles (EN 14458 and EN 166), the PAB Fire Compact offers a balance of lightweight design, universal fit, and high protection at just 1165–1220 g depending on configuration.
