Description
The USP-19000(20) Retrieval Fall Arrest Block combines automatic fall arrest with an integrated manual rescue function, allowing a fallen person to be lifted or lowered in a controlled manner. Its design can help reduce the need for a rescuer to descend to the casualty during retrieval operations. The unit features a 4.5 mm galvanized steel wire rope, high-impact-strength polymer casing and a swivel anchorage eye. Additional features include an ergonomic carry handle, locking pin for switching between fall arrest and rescue modes, hydro seepage system for water drainage and a snout designed to reduce cable locking when suddenly released. It operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +50°C, has a 15 kN breaking strength and conforms to EN 360:2002.
