Description
The Canasafe Tiger Nomex Tough Fireman Suit is designed with advanced ergonomics and reinforced protection to meet the demands of structural firefighting. The jacket features an angled flashlight holder, waterproof multigrip closure, radio-compatible chest pocket, reinforced shoulders, external elbow and shoulder protection, adjustable wristbands, and a chin-guard collar with heat seal. It includes a Drag Rescue Device (DRD) for emergency extraction, a detachable liner for layered use, and a storage pocket for an integrated rescue and restraint sling (IRS). The trousers incorporate detachable inner layers, ergonomic knee protection, adjustable waistbands, grip strips, reinforced inner legs, padded knees, and durable cuff edges with heel cutouts. Both jacket and pants offer Move+3D mobility for unrestricted movement, FR reflective stripes for visibility, and an integrated comfort suspender system. Built from a Nomex Tough outer shell with aramid/para-aramid moisture barrier and Nomex/Kevlar thermal lining, the suit provides Level 2 protection against flame, heat transfer, water penetration, and vapour resistance. Certified to EN469:2005, it ensures resilience after multiple wash cycles but requires regular inspection and maintenance. The suit is suitable for structural firefighting but not extreme flame entry environments, and must be used with complementary PPE such as helmets, gloves, boots, and hoods for complete body protection.
