Description
The Viking PS1000 jacket is designed for structural firefighting with a combination of high-performance materials for thermal, moisture, and mechanical protection. Constructed from a 195 g/m² Nomex® NXT outer shell, 140 g/m² Crosstech® Fireblocker moisture barrier, and Comfort Tridex liner, it offers Kevlar-reinforced shoulders and elbows for durability. The short-length jacket includes a metal quick-release front zipper, integrated drag rescue device (DRD), and inspection zipper. Pockets include a radio-compatible left chest pocket, side pockets, and inner Kevlar-lined storage. Triple 3M reflective trim enhances visibility on sleeves, chest, and hem, while adjustable straps, easy-access pocket straps, and name patch placements ensure ergonomic fit and functional usability. Certified to EN469, the jacket balances safety, mobility, and operational efficiency for firefighters.
