Description
The Fire House Training Manikins are purpose-built for demanding high-temperature fire rescue training, particularly BA snatch rescue training and hot fire cell exercises. Designed for use in firehouses, aircraft fuselages and shipping containers, these manikins can withstand temperatures of approximately 160°C at floor level, with the surrounding environment potentially reaching much higher temperatures at ceiling level. The main carcass is constructed from flame-retardant Polyester conforming to BS EN ISO 15025:2002 and reinforced with 38 mm meta-aramid webbing for high-temperature applications. Protective meta-aramid/para-aramid blend overalls and hood provide additional heat and flame protection, while fire-resistant ties replace conventional Velcro fastenings that may melt at elevated temperatures. The overall arms are reinforced with 5 mm leather in high-wear areas for improved durability. Anatomically correct weight distribution provides the realistic feel of an unconscious casualty, while soft body joints help minimise pinch welts and bruising. The manikin also accommodates an immobilisation/extrication collar for casualty-care training and is supplied with protective overalls and boots designed to extend service life. It is suitable for fire and rescue services, ambulance HART teams, military and professional rescue training environments.
