The 3M™ Scott™ ACSi Air Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) is designed to deliver superior comfort, flexibility, and ease of use in industrial applications. Featuring a lightweight Thermoflex® backplate and adjustable padded shoulder and waistband straps, the ACSi SCBA is engineered to mold to the wearer’s body, providing a better fit and greater comfort during prolonged use. The innovative Advanced Carrying System (ACS) allows for easy maintenance, with pneumatics that can be removed from the backplate using a simple 3M Scott “quarter-turn” mechanism—no tools required. The E-Z Flo regulator, designed for gloved hands, ensures easy breathing and secure attachment, providing the user with confidence in high-pressure environments. For enhanced safety, the shoulder-mounted photoluminescent gauge includes a whistle end-of-service alarm. The ACSi SCBA is NIOSH-approved and compatible with 3M Scott AV series facepieces for a variety of applications, including APR, PAPR, supplied air, and SCBA uses. Available in 2216 or 4500 psi variants with 30, 45, or 60-minute durations, this SCBA also offers the option of an extended duration airline for added versatility in respirator use.
