The 3M™ Multi Gas/Vapor Cartridge 6006 offers NIOSH-approved protection against a wide variety of gases and vapors, making it a versatile solution for industrial and hazardous work environments. This cartridge is compatible with a wide range of 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Reusable Respirators, including the 6000, 6500, 7500, 7800S, FF-400 Series, as well as the 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 SureSeal and AV-3000 HT models. Designed with a bayonet-style connection, the cartridge ensures quick and easy installation with a simple quarter-turn twist, providing a secure fit. Its low-profile, swept-back design not only enhances the field of vision but also optimizes balance, providing comfort and stability during use. The cartridge is lightweight, with low breathing resistance, making it suitable for long-term use in demanding environments. The 3M™ Multi Gas/Vapor Cartridge 6006 is ideal for protecting against a range of gases and vapors, including those found in industrial, chemical, and other hazardous environments. It can provide protection from gas and vapor concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) when used with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces. 3M™ has engineered these cartridges with carbon particles that effectively adsorb contaminants, helping to filter the air you breathe while maintaining breathability and long-lasting protection. The design of the cartridge optimizes the carbon bed’s layers and depth, cartridge body geometry, and carbon particle size, ensuring both ease of breathing and durability.
