The 3M™ Ammonia Methylamine Cartridge 6004 is a NIOSH-approved respiratory protection solution designed to provide effective filtration against ammonia and methylamine gases, making it ideal for use in industrial and hazardous work environments. This cartridge is compatible with a wide range of 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Reusable Respirators, including the 6000, 6500, 7500, 7800S, FF-400 Series, as well as the 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 SureSeal and AV-3000 HT models. Designed with a bayonet-style connection, the cartridge ensures secure, quick, and easy installation with a simple quarter-turn twist. The low-profile, swept-back design enhances the field of view and provides optimal balance, ensuring a comfortable and stable fit. The cartridge is lightweight and designed with low breathing resistance, making it ideal for long hours of use. The 3M™ Ammonia Methylamine Cartridge 6004 offers protection from ammonia and methylamine gas concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces. It is designed for use in a wide variety of industrial applications and can help reduce inventory needs by being compatible with multiple 3M™ respirator models. In addition to its versatility, the 3M™ Ammonia Methylamine Cartridge 6004 uses carbon particles to adsorb harmful contaminants, providing long-lasting protection while optimizing breathability. However, it is not suitable for environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of airborne particulates.
