The Dräger X-zone® 5500 revolutionizes area gas monitoring by extending the capabilities of Dräger X-am 5000, 5100, and 5600 personal detectors into a robust area monitoring solution. Capable of measuring up to six gases, it provides early warning of toxic and combustible gas hazards through a 360° LED-illuminated ring and a highly audible alarm (>108 dB at 1 m). Up to 25 X-zone 5500 units can form a wireless fenceline, allowing rapid and coordinated hazard detection across large areas. The system clearly indicates hazard location and maximum gas concentration on its display, simplifying response and containment. For hard-to-reach or confined spaces, an integrated pump version enables continuous remote monitoring up to 150 ft away. Additional features include Ex-Zone 0 approval, inductive non-contact charging, configurable alarms via Dräger CC-Vision software, and long-lasting 24 Ah battery providing up to 120 hours of continuous operation, making the X-zone 5500 an efficient, reliable, and scalable solution for industrial safety management.
