Brand: ANSELL

Description

The Ansell AlphaTec FLASH Type CV/VP1, formerly known as the TRELLCHEM FLASH Type CV/VP1, is engineered for professionals who demand uncompromising protection in hazardous and high-temperature environments. Certified to NFPA 1990 (NFPA 1991) standards, this advanced encapsulating suit offers full-body protection against chemical flash fires, liquefied gases, and a wide range of toxic or corrosive substances. Its outer aramid fabric coated with chloroprene rubber delivers outstanding flame and abrasion resistance, while the inner multi-layer barrier laminate ensures reliable chemical defense. Designed with an encapsulating structure compatible with most SCBA systems, it features a spacious hump and visor configuration (CV or VP1) for enhanced visibility and mobility. The integrated ventilation system maintains constant positive pressure with adjustable airflow rates, promoting comfort and safety during extended wear. A downward-closing HCR zipper with protective flap, double-sealed seams, and a multi-layer glove system ensure complete gas-tight integrity. The suit also includes sewn-in socks or optional nitrile safety boots, exhaust valves, and anti-fog visors for superior practicality. Approved for use in ATEX zones and compliant with EN 943, EN 1073-2, and EN 14126 standards, the AlphaTec FLASH Type CV/VP1 is ideal for chemical handling, hazmat response, CBRN defense, and emergency rescue operations where thermal and chemical hazards coexist.
