The 3M™ PELTOR™ X2A Earmuffs offer high-performance hearing protection with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 30-31 dB, depending on the model, and are tested to EN 352:2020 standards. Designed with a wide, electrically insulated flat headband, these earmuffs are dielectric, providing electrical resistance for use in environments where sparks or electrical charges may be a risk. The innovative twin headband design minimizes heat build-up on the top of the head, ensuring comfort over long periods of wear. The slim cup design not only enhances compatibility with other safety equipment but also provides excellent sound attenuation. 3M’s ear cushion foam technology helps create an effective acoustic seal for reliable protection. The durable ABS plastic cups are rigid, impact-resistant, and coated with thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) for added abrasion resistance. The earmuffs also feature color-coding, making it easy to identify the protection level.
